10 Night Cruise sailing from Copenhagen to Stockholm aboard Azamara Pursuit.
Your journey begins in colorful Copenhagen, where modern creativity flourishes. Then, it's off to Gdansk for an unforgettable overnight stay. Here — in the amber capital of the world — spend your days touring medieval castles and uncovering the city's fascinating history, and your evenings strolling the bustling waterfront promenade or dining on fresh seafood. Next, we'll visit Klaipeda, Lithuania and Riga, Latvia, where a late-night departure means more time for seaside sands and Art Nouveau skylines.
After a day spent relaxing on your boutique hotel at sea, arrive in St. Petersburg, Russia, for three days of exploration and adventure. Grandiose and historic, St. Petersburg is Russia's iconic modern metropolis. Become absorbed in the artistic atmosphere of the Hermitage, tour historic palaces, and take in a breathtaking ballet in a beautiful theater. While visiting, be sure to visit one of St. Petersburg's many stolovayas (canteens) for a meal that is as social as it is authentic.
You'll say "Da svedanya" to St. Petersburg for an overnight cruise to Tallinn, Estonia. Here, embrace cafe culture, cycle through secluded neighborhoods, or sample a few local brews. Your voyage then concludes in chic Stockholm — an ever-evolving cultural hub where the next adventure is just around the corner.
Highlights of this cruise:
Copenhagen
Fairy-tale architecture and avant-garde modern designs create an enchanting atmosphere in Scandinavia's largest city. Copenhagen's quality of life is exceptional, with countless green spaces and bicycle paths—offering you every opportunity to take in the culture and cuisine of the City of Spires.
Riga
Riga’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and its winding, wobbly lanes are beautiful to wander through. The Museum of the Occupation is fascinating, haunting in parts. The restored 18th-century National Opera House is worthy of a whole evening. The new National Library is a huge glass and steel mountain. And don’t miss an organ recital in The Dome - the organ one of the largest in Europe.
St Petersburg
Affectionately referred to as the Venice of the North, St. Petersburg is home to an incredibly diverse array of architecture. From golden domed churches to opulent palaces, St. Petersburg is certain to leave you in awe. In particular, don’t miss the Winter Palace, located within the Hermitage complex, one of the world’s largest museums and home to more three million works of art and artifacts!
Tallinn
Embrace the wonderfully independent spirit of Tallinn. During your visit, take a walk up Toompea hill for a lovely view of Tallinn’s diverse skyline and architecture. Then, visit St. Olav’s Church, believed to have been the world’s tallest building...in 1625. From here, you’re not far from St. Catherine’s Passage, where you’ll discover many delightful craft workshops to explore.
Stockholm
Experience the best of northern charm in Stockholm. A perfect balance of green space, Scandinavian architecture, and enchanting palaces, Stockholm is the perfect city to relax and explore. Start in Gamla Stan—the city’s oldest section—for a glimpse at how life used to be. Then, make your way to SoFo for delicious meals and specialty shopping. And don’t forget to check out the ABBA Museum! |
