Description 9 Night cruise departing from Venice to Athens onboard Europa 2.

Split’s cultural highlights, insider tips such as Nauplia or Spetses and the trendy society hotspot of Mykonos are just some of the treats on a multifaceted route that will take you to the most beautiful destinations in the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea.

Highlights of this cruise:

Venice/Italy
The city in the famous Adriatic lagoon is made up of 118 islands connected by more than 400 bridges. This is where your cruise begins with an overnight stay on board the EUROPA 2.

Split/Croatia
Only those visitors who approach Split from the sea get to see its historic backdrop. From Croatia’s second-largest city, head to Salona* with its excavations and Trogir* with one of Dalmatia’s most beautiful squares. Nature lovers are in for a treat in the impressive Krka National Park*, known for its waterfalls.

Korcula City/Korcula/Croatia
Gentle green hills with olive groves and vineyards give the island its character. Explore Korcula on a hike* through Mediterranean forests and small villages or head off the beaten track with a buggy safari*.

Kerkyra/Corfu/Ionian Islands/Greece
Empress Elisabeth of Austria once loved to visit this peaceful island and she had the Achilleion* summer palace built here between 1890 and 1892. Enjoy a tasting at the Ambelonas vineyard*. Or board a boat* to visit the fascinating Nafsika, Saint Nicholas and Blue Eye caves on the coast of Paleokastritsa.

Nauplia/Peloponnese/Greece
From the picturesque harbour town on the Argolic Gulf, visit the historic excavations of Corinth* and enjoy a boat trip through the famous canal. Mycenae*, one of the largest cities of the ancient world, and the theatre of Epidaurus* will also leave you with lasting memories.

Spetses/Saronic Islands/Greece
Away from mass tourism, the little island of Spetses has preserved its unique character with cafes, art shops and boutiques. Explore the area independently with a walk or a bicycle tour.

Mykonos/Cyclades/Greece
A visit to Mykonos with the world-famous windmills and its little white houses is an unforgettable experience. A wander through the narrow, romantic streets will introduce you to the town centre with brightly painted balconies, many elegant shops and the Little Venice area. The rustic tavernas invite you to enjoy a typical Greek lunch with regional specialities.

Piraeus (Athens)/Greece
The EUROPA 2 will bid you farewell in the port of the Greek capital.
