Highlights of this cruise:

Dublin/Ireland
Start your cruise with a night on board the EUROPA 2 in the port of Dublin and get to know the Irish capital from the land and from the water* with a boat tour to see the magnificent buildings and the impressive Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, which is over 800 years old. Delve into the art of brewing beer at the Guinness Storehouse* – a museum devoted to Ireland’s national drink – and enjoy a freshly pulled pint in the Gravity Bar.

Cobh/Ireland
Little shops and pubs mingle around St Colman’s Cathedral with its impressive-sounding bells in this town set amongst lakes and impressive manor houses*. Cobh is also the starting point for an excursion to the university city of Cork* or a visit to the Old Midleton Whiskey Distillery*. This traditional set-up is the proud home of the world’s largest pot, which holds 30,000 gallons. Slainte!

Isles of Scilly/England/Great Britain
The group of more than 140 islands and 90 rocky reefs off the south-western tip of England offers beautiful beaches, spectacular views and historic places for exploring independently.

Falmouth/England/Great Britain
Cornwall is brimming with romantic fishing villages and steep rugged cliffs, making it probably the most scenic part of England. The peninsula of Land’s End, Lelant – the birthplace of Rosamunde Pilcher and the art colony of St Ives are just some of the highlights* to be seen in Cornwall. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the Lost Gardens of Heligan* – a living museum of English garden culture.

St Helier/Jersey/Channel Islands/Great Britain
The largest of the Channel Islands will treat to you to some astonishingly varied nature, which you get up close to on a tour*. As you travel along North Marine Drive on the north coast, you will pass Greve de Lecq and St Catherine’s Bay before reaching the small harbour town of Gorey and Mont Orgueil Castle.

St Malo
The small Breton town with its historic fortress walls is an inviting place for a walk. St Malo is not far from the monastic island of Mont-Saint-Michel*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the mudflats, and the oyster town of Cancale*.

Le Palais/Belle-Ile/France
Stroll through the picturesque main town of the island. Enjoy a tour* of small fishing villages, the wild vegetation of the diverse landscape, beautiful views of the rugged coastline and an oyster tasting*.

Leixoes (Porto)/Portugal
Between the Atlantic and the Douro wine region lies Porto* with its impressive squares, the Church of Sao Francisco in the old town, the magnificent stock exchange and the famous steel bridge over the Douro River. Take a ride on the nostalgic tram* through the old quarters and sample some Portuguese delicacies and port.

Lisbon/Portugal
Enjoy what is probably the most beautiful river journey in Europe. Head ashore for a taste of the typical Portuguese charm on a walk through the old town, followed by a ride on the Gloria funicular* to trendy Bairro Alto – the upper town. Your cruise on the EUROPA 2 ends here with one last night on board.
