Highlights of this cruise:

Venice, Italy
Venice rests three miles off the coast of mainland Italy and is considered one of the world's most enchanting cities. Known as the "Queen of the Adriatic," it actually comprises more than 100 separate islands. Laced together by a string of 400 intricate bridges, Venice is legendary for its labyrinthine network of canals. A whimsical stroll through the city can lead one to a hidden world of ornately decorated piazzas and shops. As you explore colorful marketplaces and busy town squares, marvel at a priceless legacy of Baroque architecture. Admire the richness of St. Mark's Basilica and the lavishness of the Palazzo Ducale. Getting lost in Venice can be a truly delightful experience. The place of dreams, this romantic city will live long in your memory.

Hvar, Croatia
This small island located in the center of the Mediterranean is a nature-lover’s delight. The arrival of Croatians to Hvar in the Middle Ages turned this temperate island into the center of Croatian arts and literature, thus ensuing the production of extraordinary works in sculpture, paintings and music. Greeks founded their first colony here in 358 BC, and since then Hvar has survived frequent changes of occupancy throughout the Middle Ages and into modern times. The impact of the long period of Venetian rule is most evident in the town of Hvar, where there are numerous reminders of the glorious Renaissance Movement. Today, Hvar offers stretches of beaches that melt into the azure waters of the Mediterranean—a paradise to tourists and locals alike. Year round, the sun shines brightly on the splendid island of Hvar, making its limestone towns sparkle amid the fertile green hills, rocky terrain, and the surrounding sea of clear cobalt blue. Situated between the islands of BračVis and Korcula, Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic Sea, and it boasts one of the most beautiful landscapes nature has created. The climate is unmatched, and the clear, fresh air will refresh your soul. The magic of Hvar is eternal, its beauty is unforgettable.

Kotor, Montenegro
Rising above the Adriatic Sea, the town of Kotor is splendid for both its ocean views and medieval Old Town. To walk through its streets is to take a stroll through history. You'll see fortifications dating from the 9th century; the Church of Saint Ana dating from the 12th century; the Church of Saint Luke from the 13th century; the Church of the Healing Mother of God from the 15th century; the Prince's Palace from the 17th century; and Napoleon's Theatre from the 19th century. Stylish gates, enticing flights of stairs and inviting squares, all accessed via a maze of narrow lanes, make Kotor's Old Town a true delight. With your visit, you will understand why Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Santorini/Thíra, Greece
Of all the Cyclades Islands, Santorini is often considered the most dramatic. Once an active volcano, it was known as Stongyle, or the Round Island. In about 1500 BC, the volcano erupted with such force that the center of the island literally exploded, leaving the haunting submerged crater into which Crystal sails. The island's small villages were preserved in the ashes and recent excavations have uncovered a fascinating view of everyday life from 3,500 years ago.

Santorini's dark landscape offsets its simple, yet refined Cycladic buildings, which glimmer in the sunlight. The rich volcanic soil is ideal for grapes and the local vines produce a cherished crop known for its "special volcanic taste."

Thíra, or Fira Town, is laid out along the edge of a cliff that partially forms the rim of the now extinct caldera. A picturesque site, it exudes charm and an atmosphere of leisure that can be attributed to the easy-going Greek lifestyle.

Rhodes/Lindos, Greece
Best known of the Dodecanese islands, Rhodes is rich with natural beauty, architectural variety and colorful history. The city of Rhodes is architecturally one of the most varied in Europe. Hellenistic, Byzantine, Medieval and Turkish architectural styles freely intermingle. Sunshine and dry air combine to cast such a magnificent light over the island that the ancients dedicated Rhodes to Apollo, the God of Light.

Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos, a former 18th-century pirates' bastion, is now a sophisticated and cosmopolitan island resort. This quintessential Greek island offers a maze of winding streets, graceful windmills, inviting beaches, domed churches and whitewashed houses accented in blue. Dotting the waterfront are cafés, taverns and tempting shops. Guests may spend the day exploring the island independently. Feel free to investigate its fine boutiques and pleasant, labyrinthine street

Athens/Piraeus, Greece
Piraeus is Greece's largest port and has been a gateway to the Mediterranean since 482 BC. It lies on the innermost point of the Saronic Gulf and is a short drive from Athens, the cradle of Western democracy and culture. Throughout the ages, Athens' lofty Acropolis has been a source of inspiration. The ancient ruins scattered throughout this legendary city are reminders of Greece's great cultural heritage.
