Highlights of this cruise:

Dublin, Ireland
The Irish capital, Dublin, enjoys one of the loveliest settings in Europe. Craggy Howth Head shelters the natural harbor at Dublin Bay and the gurgling River Liffey flows through the center of town. The ancient Egyptians, as well as Norman and Viking warriors, visited Dublin. However, the city's most pervasive surviving influences come from the 18th and 19th centuries when elegant Georgian mansions were first built along the river and then outward from its shores. The arts also flourished during this period and Dublin served as the birthplace of some of our greatest literary figures such as Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw and James Joyce to name only a few.

Cobh, Ireland
Cobh/Cork is a quintessential Irish city, with spired churches, cozy pubs, lush green hills and water—lots of water. The city center is built on an island surrounded by the two channels of River Lee, creating a town that is both picturesque and snug. Narrow lanes are lined with quaint, colorfully painted shops and houses; flowers bloom from baskets placed on doorsteps; Georgian buildings add an air of regal elegance. There is a modern side to the city as well, especially on the heels of Cork’s 2005 designation as European Capital of Culture. New buildings are popping up, joining other contemporary structures to give the city a young and fresh vibe, a culture that is ever-vibrant with an ongoing infusion of actual youth who come to this university town to hit the books—and the local taverns.

Dingle, Ireland
Dingle, is a small fishing town in County Kerry, Ireland. Small it may be, but at one point in the early 1200s, it became a bustling shipping port with more goods exported out of Dingle than the much larger city of Limerick. Exports of fish and hide flourished while its designation as one of fifteen cities to have a wine importation monopoly was a big draw for French and Spanish fleets. Today, Dingle is a small but growing town, and its summer tourist season showcase numerous irish music events in and around pubs, cafes and restaurants that dot this Irish gem.

Bar Harbor, Maine, USA
Cradled off the craggy coast of Maine lies Mount Desert Island and the charming seaport town of Bar Harbor. Earlier last century, when it was the summer retreat of millionaires, it boasted magnificent estate homes, or "cottages," many of which were completely destroyed by the fire of 1947. However, some things never change. The priceless asset of the island's scenic beauty remains untouched by time. Vistas of emerald-green forests and rugged valleys from the superb vantage point of Mount Cadillac remain just as spectacular, and the rugged shoreline scenery is still as awe inspiring as it ever was. The choice is yours. Take a scenic drive through some of Maine's most spectacular scenery or stroll along the picturesque main street with its inviting shops and galleries. Perhaps you will choose to sample some of North America's most delectable seafood at an authentic lobster bake, or cruise the fascinating coastal area.

Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Relive nearly four hundred years of history as you explore myriad sights of Boston, a city that exudes pride in its past and future. Superb shopping abounds and sightseeing attractions are legendary. You'll revel in exploring the Freedom Trail, the Old North Church and the Boston Common. A few miles away lie Lexington and Concord where the momentous events that began in 1775 come alive. Boston has not been content to rest on the laurels of its glorious past. Progress is everywhere. Glazed high-rises soar skyward and the colorful waterfront area has been artfully renovated. Your visit to this thriving metropolis is bound to impress.

Cape Cod / Provincetown, Massachusetts
At the very end of Cape Cod, on a gorgeous untamed coastline of sand dunes and beautiful beaches, lies Provincetown, a destination steeped in rich American history. Nearly 400 years ago it was in this harbor that the Mayflower pilgrims sought shelter from difficult seas on their journey en route to the Colony of Virginia. Before moving on to settle in Plymouth, it was here, too, that the pilgrims drafted and signed the Mayflower Compact, often referred to as America’s first constitution. Throughout the last century, “P-town" — as it is affectionately known, attracted an eclectic mix of writers and artists, drawn by its welcoming vibe to all manner of characters as well as its surreal light – in fact, Provincetown is regarded as the nation’s oldest continuous art colony.

New York City, New York, USA
Welcome to one of the world's most famous and exciting cities. Broadway, Times Square, the Empire State Building and Central Park are just some of the celebrated spectacles this bustling city has to offer. Giovanni da Verrazano was the first European to glimpse Manhattan Island in 1524, but the area was not explored until Henry Hudson arrived in 1609. It is said that Peter Minuit bought the entire island from Native Americans for $24 worth of beads and trinkets in 1629 - the biggest real estate bargain in history. In 1664 the Dutch surrendered to a British Fleet, and the town was renamed New York in honor of the Duke of York. George Washington was inaugurated here in 1789, and for a time, New York served as the country's capital. Since then, the city has grown spectacularly and has become one of the most exciting and electrifying cities in the country - not to mention one of the most rewarding to visit and explore.
