Cruise Line SeaDream Yacht Club
Ship SeaDream I
Destination Caribbean
Nights 7
Departure Date 27 Dec 2021
Description 7 Night Cruise sailing from Marigot to Bridgetown onboard SeaDream I.

Let’s face it! Some vacations at sea can be boring. But a holiday with SeaDream Yacht Club is something new. Unstructured! Unexpected! A casual, free-form holiday with plenty of room for personal choice.

We are not a cruise line. Quite simply, yachting is different from cruising. Yachting has an open casual ambience. Cruising does not. Yachting provides guests the ability to fulfill their dreams at their own pace without having to stick to a rigid fixed schedule. With yachting it’s no clocks, no crowds, no lines, no stress.

Our twin mega yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II offer seven-day Caribbean and Mediterranean sailings. The elegant twins call at smaller yacht ports. There’s lots of water sports activity. “Water Toys” including wave runners, kayaks, snorkel gear, Sunfish and Zodiacs for water skiing. If you feel lazy you can snooze on deck in private Balinese sun beds---designed for two. Fun under the sun or indoors. And dining with SeaDream is superb whether you are in our main Dining Salon or up on deck in our Topside Restaurant. In short, the SeaDream twins offer guests the ultimate in the elegant, but, oh so casual yachting lifestyle. An intimate, friendly, comfortable, romantic yachting experience where you can always expect the unexpected.

Highlights of this cruise:

Marigot, St Martin
Saint Martin has a land area of 87 km2, which is under the sovereignty of France, and under the sovereignty of the Netherlands. Marigot is one of the main cities and lies on the French side. The island's French side is known for its beaches, clothes, shopping (including outdoor markets), and rich French and Indian Caribbean cuisine.

Norman Island, British Virgin Islands
Norman Island is located at the southern tip of the British Virgin Islands. It could very well be the very same island reputed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's pirate novel Treasure Island. It is said that the island was named after a pirate who purchased it at some point during the early 18th century. The island is uninhabited and privately owned by Dr Henry Jarecki. Its area is about 600 acres (2.4 km²), and it is about 2.5 miles (4 km) long. A large harbor is known as "The Bight" offers one of the most protected anchorages in the area. Guests will enjoy some great hiking opportunities as well as snorkeling and scuba diving. Another attractive option may be to check out the Willie T that is generally anchored in the harbor or simply have a beverage at the Pirates Bight Bar.

Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda
Nearly every publication written about Virgin Gorda will emphasize the need to visit “The Baths” – don’t miss it! SeaDream generally arrives early and anchor’s off Spanish Town to give guests an early start to view the baths before all of the tourists arrive from the neighboring Islands. You may also consider excellent Scuba Diving options or an opportunity to swim with the dolphins. After our short “technical stop” to dispatch land adventures and clearance with the officials. SeaDream navigates scenically up the coast and arrives in North Sound to anchor just off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Here we offer water sports, land adventures, hiking options with the officers and tenders to the Bitter End! Depending on the voyage, you may also visit Prickly Pear Island for another signature Champagne and Caviar Splash option with an incredible setting.

White Bay, Jost Van Dyke
The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne and Caviar in the surf followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!

Sandy Ground, Anguilla
This British Overseas Territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and amazing golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, swim with dolphins or for the energetic, bike around the island with the Captain or Club Director. Naturally, we will also offer water sports while we are anchored off Sandy Ground.

Gustavia, St Barthelemy
Perhaps our most treasured destination in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer our SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping only steps away from pier. Incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants and activities both day and night. SeaDream has created various land adventures for you to discover the island from sea or land. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Another great activity here is to simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing just off your SeaDream yacht.

Rodney Bay, St Lucia
Rodney Bay is a bay on the North West coast of Saint Lucia; it is along the northwestern coast of the island to the north of Choc Bay. It is named after British naval officer George Brydges Rodney. We will anchor and offer tender service to one of the local bars or direct to the marina. Guests can enjoy the Yachting Land Adventures, water sports, the local beaches or a hike to Pigeon Island.

Bridgetown, Barbados
SeaDream uses the port of Bridgetown as the hub for their Southern Caribbean voyages as well as some of voyages that cross the Atlantic. The Island itself includes Unesco Heritage Sites, excellent beaches and history dating back to 1628. The climate is tropical with constant warm temperatures during the year cooled by light trade winds.
