10 Night Cruise sailing from Lima to San Antonio onboard Azamara Quest.
With over five centuries of history, Lima or the “City of Kings,†is a UNESCO World Heritage Site worth exploring. We begin our journey here with an overnight stay, so you’ll have plenty of time to experience everything Lima has to offer, from Museo Larco to the extravagant display at El Circuito Mágico del Agua. While you’re here, sample the city’s culinary delights—after all, Lima is known as the gastronomic capital of South America.
In the quaint colonial town of Pisco, spend the day by the coastline birding and trying to spot the port’s resident marine life or venture to the Museo Arqueologico Paracas to browse a rich collection of Inca and pre-Inca artifacts.
Next, it’s a day of relaxation and pampering at sea before arriving in Arica, Chile for some beach bumming along the port’s 20 km of beaches and exploring in the colorful heart of the city, the Plaza Colón. With a late night stay, there’s plenty of time to browse the market stalls, grab a bite and enjoy the lively music. Then it’s on to the stunning beach resort town of Iquique.
After a day at sea, we’ll visit the historic port city of ValparaÃso before moving on to the seaside city of Coquimbo and nearby La Serena. We arrive in our final destination, Chile’s capital city of Santiago. A city bursting at the seams with fascinating history and cultural life, spend a little time discovering the region’s famed wine, neoclassical architecture, and sandy beaches before saying adios to this grand adventure.
