Enjoy a guided exploration of Red Square and St Basil’s Cathedral. Later, perhaps tour a Cold War bunker or enjoy free time before exploring some of Moscow’s Metro stations. Later, board your river ship.

Day 3 Moscow
Tour the Armoury Museum and venture inside the walls of the Kremlin, a fortified complex that was once the royal residence of the Tsars.

Day 4 Moscow

Perhaps gain an insight into the history of space exploration with a visit to the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, Alternatively, you can explore Tretyakov Art Gallery.

Day 7 Goritsy, White Lake

Visit the Monastery of St Cyril on the White Lake and its Museum of Icons. Alternatively, take a walking tour of Goritsy, including a visit to a local school. Later, cruise the White Lake.

Day 8 Lake Onega, Kizhi Island
Situated on Lake Onega, Kizhi Island is home to the Transfiguration Church, built in 1714 without a single nail.

Day 9 Mandrogi, Lake Ladoga
After cruising through the night, dock in the village of Mandrogi, teeming with traditional houses.

Day 10 St Petersburg
Board a Hydrofoil and travel to Peterhof Palace for a guided tour. After lunch, see St Isaac’s Cathedral and the Nevsky Prospect then visit the Peter & Paul Fortress.

Day 11 St Petersburg
