Dining & Beverages: From casual fare to fine dining, we cater for every style on board. We source from regional suppliers so our food is both extremely fresh and in season. Our chefs draw inspiration from the countries we pass through so you’ll experience true regional cuisine. And of course there’s an extensive selection of complimentary beverages all day too.

Scenic Crystal, Scenic Jewel and Scenic Jade joined the Scenic luxury fleet in 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively.
These ships feature outdoor balconies that convert into all-weather Scenic Sun-Lounges on the European waterways and have newly designed guest rooms with 32-inch, flat screen, high definition televisions as well as six on board dining restaurants. Even the bar in the main lounge is made from sophisticated Port Laurent marble.
On both Scenic Crystal and Scenic Jewel we are delighted to offer the additional choice of a spacious Deluxe Balcony Suite. Located in prime locations at the front of the ship, these suites offer all the features of our private Balcony Suites, with even more space to relax.

Day 1 – Basel
A warm welcome awaits you from the crew of your Scenic Space-Ship. Your luxury cruise is about to begin and you’ll have the chance to raise your glass to the occasion at this evening’s welcome reception.
Day 2 – Kehl > Strasbourg

Visit Strasbourg, discover La Petite France and stroll through the Old Town with its half-timbered houses and distinctive Alsatian winstubs. Alternatively, journey to Mittelbergheim in the Alsace and sample some of the best wines the region has to offer. Or, explore the Black Forest region during a visit to the Vogtsbauernhof Open Air Museum.
Day 3 – Rastatt > Baden-Baden
Arrive in charming Baden-Baden, a spa town famous for its Roman baths.

Join your local guide and tour the ruins of the Roman baths that have made this city famous, or take an active hike around Hohenbaden Castle. Alternatively, visit the Mercedes-Benz factory.

Day 4 – Mannheim

Join a local guide on a historic tour of Heidelberg and visit the Renaissance castle. The castle ruins are among the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. Or, join a guided orientation tour of Heidelberg, followed by free time.
Day 5 – Koblenz
Take a guided tour of Koblenz, straddling two of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. Alternatively, discover Cochem, a true medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle River. Explore this charming city on a guided tour including a visit to Reichsburg Castle. Alternatively, visit a local winery and sample some of the fine wines of this region or take a guided cycling tour.
Day 6 – Cologne

Enjoy a scenic ride on the oldest cog railway in Germany and discover splendid Drachenburg Castle, or stroll through Cologne and get up close to the filigree twin towers of the famous cathedral. Alternatively, stay on board for a beer tasting, or learn the history of one of the city’s most famous namesake, Eau de Cologne on a guided tour.
Day 7 – Amsterdam

Explore Amsterdam on a guided walking tour, pausing along the way to sample the Dutch favourite, Herring. Or, cruise the iconic canals that have made Amsterdam world famous. Alternatively, if you’re feeling more active, join a guided cycling tour or, discover charming Volendam, with its unusual raised homes and quaint wooden church, before heading to the equally charming village of Edam.
