Your journey begins in Athens—Europe’s oldest city and the cradle of civilization—before heading to the vibrant city of Limassol. Stroll narrow streets lined with shops, bars, and tavernas, and visit museums and historic sites like the medieval Limassol Castle, built over one thousand years ago.
Awake the next morning in Haifa, Israel, where an overnight and late-night stay gives you time to discover its archaeological and biblical sites of wonder, including Nazareth, Galilee, the Jordan River, and Elijah’s Cave. Then, prepare for three full days and two nights in Jerusalem. Walk the Stations of the Cross or see some of the most celebrated shrines on Earth, including the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock atop the Temple Mount.
The next day, we arrive in bustling Port Said, the entry point to the Suez Canal by the Mediterranean Sea. With an early morning arrival and late-night stay in Alexandria, you’ll have plenty of time to explore its ancient treasures or venture inland to Cairo and the pyramids.
Enjoy two relaxing days at sea to unwind before disembarking in Athens.

Athens
Start your journey in Piraeus with an archaeological walk past landmarks like the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Ancient Agora, and of course, the Acropolis. Afterwards, head to the Central Market for a feast of fresh fruit and veggies, nuts, olives, and Grecian cheese. Finally, check out a local taverna where you can rub elbows with the locals well into the wee hours of the night.
Port Said
Port Said makes for the perfect place to watch huge ships wait in line to enter the Suez Canal. Explore the Great Pyramid of Giza, go on a desert Jeep safari, see the treasures of Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum, and even take a cruise down the river Nile.
Ashdod
This ancient holy city won’t fail to move you, regardless of your faith. From the Western Wall, to the Dome of the Rock, to the last remnants of the Temple of the Jews, Jerusalem is a woven tapestry of religion and history. Head to the modern Israel Museum and see the famous Dead Sea Scrolls for yourself.
Limassol
Limassol’s quaint narrow streets are filled with lively character, tavernas, and shops, where you can find fresh local produce, famous wines, and fine handmade goods. Visit sites like Kolossi Castle, a former Crusader stronghold; the Grand Mosque in the old Turkish quarter; the Archaeological Museum; and Limassol Castle, allegedly where Richard the Lionheart married his queen during the Third Crusade.
