Highlights of this cruise:

Port Klang
Port Klang is a town and the main gateway by sea into Malaysia. Colonially known as Port Swettenham, it is also the location of the largest and busiest port in the country. It is located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) southwest of the town of Klang, and 38 kilometres (24 mi) southwest of Kuala Lumpur.

There are no attractions at Port Klang itself, however most visitors travel on to Kuala Lampur or Klang Town.

Galle
The port town of Galle, about 60 miles (100km) south of Colombo and a short distance west of Matara, is steeped in the heritage of the Dutch presence in Sri Lanka, dominated by the 36-hectare (89-acre) Dutch Fort, built in 1663, with its massive ramparts on a promontory. Inside the walls of the fort is the old town containing Galle houses, Dutch homesteads, museums and churches, as well as the New Oriental Hotel, originally the home of the Dutch governors. The town has a small beach but most sun-lovers find better beaches a little out of town along the coast road.

The Dutch style Old Town is home to the Dutch Museum, which has period rooms depicting life as a colony of the Dutch. The Martin Wickramsinghe Folk Art Museum has a remarkable collection of masks and carriages. Sri Lanka has had a strategic importance for the world’s traders since the 18th century, culminating in the 19th and 20th century obsession with the tea plant so a visit to the Talgaswella Tea Estate is worthwhile .

Limassol
Limassol is the second-largest city of Cyprus, the largest city in geographical size, and the biggest municipality of the island. The city is located on Akrotiri Bay, on the island’s southern coast and it is the capital of Limassol District. It is the biggest port in the Mediterranean transit trade.

Limassol is surrounded by beautiful citrus plantations filled with lemon, orange and grapefruit trees. Visitors can access many well-preserved archaeological sites, including ancient tombs and astounding mosaics. There are traditional villages nestled into the nearby mountains, with their local handicrafts of lace, sterling silver and blown colored glass.
