The route concept concentrates on four regions: Western Mediterranean, Eastern Mediterranean, Arabian Peninsula and Asia. In fulfilment of the wishes of our guests these will be shorter, mostly seven-day voyages. Many routes will be offered on different dates and can be combined flexibly to form longer, fantastic stays on board.

Immerse yourself in the cultural centre of Cape Verde, see the hustle and bustle at the fish market and enjoy the city park. Experience the landscape of Sao Vicente with its mountain ranges and volcanic craters on an off-road tour by jeep*. Or take in the spectacular views of the island from Monte Verde*.
Praia/Santiago/Cape Verde
Explore the main island of the archipelago, which is shaped by African traditions and Creole culture. The city centre of Praia* offers interesting sights such as the City Hall, Presidential Palace and some of the oldest colonial buildings from the 19th century. Alternatively, take a tour in an all-terrain vehicle* along the coast and see the country’s interior away from civilisation.
Recife/Brazil
In north-east Brazil, you’ll find Recife with its Santo Antonio district, where typically Dutch gabled houses line the canals, alternating with colourful tiled facades. Stroll across Republic Square with its impressive government and court buildings, past the Casa da Cultura and through the small colonial town of Olinda*. Explore the “Venice of Brazil†in an open catamaran* and then visit a cachaca distillery to find out more about how the famous sugar cane schnapps is produced.
Salvador/Brazil
Get a feel for the zest for life of the inhabitants of Salvador, which is known for being a city of saints and mysteries, and see how they love to dance and make music. In the centre, you’ll see the Lacerda elevator*, which connects the upper and lower parts of town. Wander past wonderful buildings that hark back to the colonial era and find inspiration at the art galleries.
Rio de Janeiro/Brazil
