Day 3 Avignon

Explore the Palace of the Popes. Or, some of you might prefer a round of golf. Alternatively, journey to the Pont du Gard and admire this ancient Roman aqueduct.
Entering Avignon, you can’t help but be drawn to its imposing château, the Palace of the Popes. Set out on your preferred activity, followed by an afternoon at leisure to do as you please.
Day 4 Viviers
Join a farmer and his dogs to sniff out prized truffles, then visit Grignan Castle. Set atop a rocky hill, this fortified Renaissance castle is filled with exquisite artworks.
Day 5 Tournon, Vienne

Take a ride on the Ardèche Steam Train, winding through the Doux gorge. For wine lovers, visit the historic Maison M. Chapoutier winery for a tasting. Otherwise, if you’d like to get active, enjoy a guided bike ride with a stop at the Valrhona Chocolate Factory for a little indulgence.

Day 6 Vienne, Lyon
